Who Can Participate in Sorority Recruitment?
All Ball State University students are eligible to participate in sorority recruitment provided that (1) they are enrolled and are in good standing with Ball State, (2) have never been initiated into one of the sororities at BSU, (3) register through the recruitment link and pay the registration fee before the deadline. *Please note, some chapter’s National Policies may require members to be full time students.

What If I am Not a Freshman or Am a Transfer Student and I Want to Participate in Sorority Recruitment?
Provided that you are a student at Ball State and have not previously been initiated into a BSU sorority, you are eligible and invited to participate in sorority recruitment.
Is There a Grade or GPA Requirement to Participate in Recruitment or Join a Sorority?
No, there is no set minimum grade point average required for participation in recruitment. While Panhellenic does not mandate a specific GPA (grade point average) for recruitment, each sorority establishes its own minimum grade requirement for membership eligibility. Every sorority places importance on upholding a high chapter grade point average, thus they evaluate each potential member's ability to meet the chapter's academic standards. Each chapter has a required GPA:

Alpha Gamma Delta: 2.5
Alpha Omicron Pi: 2.5

Delta Zeta: 2.0
