A Letter From The 2025 VP of Recruitment

Dear Potential New Member,

As the Vice President of Recruitment for the Panhellenic Association, it is my privilege to extend a warm welcome to you as you explore the incredible opportunity to join our Panhellenic community! By choosing to pursue membership in a Panhellenic sorority, you are embarking on a journey that will not only enrich your college experience through meaningful experiences but also help you find your home away from home.

I know that navigating college life can feel overwhelming, trust me, but by participating in recruitment, you are opening the door to discovering a group of individuals who will become your sisters and siblings. These people will be there to support, guide, and love you—not just throughout your college years, but for a lifetime.

As you prepare for the recruitment process, I encourage you to reflect on some important questions: What am I seeking in a sisterhood? What personal values are most important to me? What causes or philanthropies do I feel passionate about? What makes me feel like my most authentic self? During recruitment, approach every interaction with both an open mind and an open heart. Listen carefully as chapter members share their values and dedication to their philanthropies, and pay attention to how each chapter makes you feel as you leave the room. While the process can be time-consuming and sometimes exhausting, it can also be exhilarating and enlightening. Not only will you meet a diverse range of individuals, but you may also learn new things about yourself along the way. Embrace this experience—it’s an opportunity to grow and discover.

If you have any questions at any point during your recruitment journey, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can email me anytime at bsupharecruitment@gmail.com. I’m here to serve as a resource, answer your questions, and—most importantly—listen to your thoughts and concerns.

Whether you’re an incoming freshman, a transfer student, an upperclassman, or an international student, there is a place for you within our Sorority and Fraternity Life community, and we are excited to welcome you with open arms as you prepare for this life-changing experience. As you attend recruitment events and engage with members of the Greek community, remember to take a deep breath, stay true to who you are, and seek out the chapter where you can truly see yourself growing.

I can’t wait to welcome you home!

With love and excitement,

Rileigh Lancaster
